Today I was talking to my buddy about beard oil. Don’t worry if you never heard of it, neither did he. The conversation went something like this:
Me: Got some beard oil the other day.
Stone Cold: WHAT?!
Me: I said I bought some beard oil to try out.
Stone Cold: WHAT?! Can I get a helllllllll yeah?
Me: (shakes head)
Stone Cold: Andddd that’s the bottom line because Stone Cold said so!
Stone Cold continued to clamer on about rattle snakes and drinking beer so I don’t think he figured out exactly what I was talking about. A couple months back, I had the same reaction as Stone Cold. I never heard of “beard oil” and thought that it was some kind of snake-oil, voodoo, mumbo jumbo. But after doing some research, I found out that there are some benefits to using beard oil.
After sifting through all the options on Amazon, I came across a beard oil conveniently labeled BEARD OIL by Leven Rose (www.LevenRose.com). Of interest is that the oil is 100% organic and fragrance free. Although it is fragrance free, my wife notices a slight, oily-smell when she leans in to kiss me.
I’ve been using the oil for about two weeks now and I have noticed a difference. My beard, which is lumberjack-ish, isn’t as itchy, and I’m experiencing less dry skin underneath the beard. The oil gives the beard a subtle healthy-looking shine and a bit of a darker color. I was hoping that it would tame the scraggliness of my beard, but it doesn’t (and I don’t believe it is made to). I’m going to have to get a balm to tame the wildness of my whiskers.
I’m going to continue to use the BEARD OIL by Leven Rose because of the softer feel it gives my beard and because it reduces the amount of itching that goes along with looking like a man. I’m happy with my choice and the experience of using the BEARD OIL. Consume Review Repeat gives the BEARD OIL by Leven Rose a 9 out of 10 hell yeahs.
